Church is hard.

Church is hard for the person stepping through the doors for the first time, anxious about being judged.

Church is hard for the son moving back home, worn down and wounded by life.

Church is hard for the girl who seems to have it all together, but doesn’t.

Church is hard for the parent whose child walked away from faith.

Church is hard for the couple who argued the whole way to church.

Church is hard for the single mom surrounded by smiling couples and families who seem to have it all figured out.

Church is hard for the widower who leaves church without anyone to share lunch with.

Church is hard for the one singing along to the worship songs, feeling the full weight of every single word.

Church is hard for the man who quietly doubts his ability to lead.

Church is hard for the person who wonders if God really hears their prayers after so many unanswered ones.

Church is hard for the person struggling with their mental health, quietly carrying the burden alone.

Church is hard for the wife who longs to be guided by a godly man.

Church is hard for the nursery volunteer who lovingly cares for little ones while longing for a child of her own.

Church is hard for the single person, praying God brings them a partner.

Church is hard for the one who has seen many seasons and wonders where they belong now.

Church is hard for the teenage girl marked by her past, carrying shame for the choices she’s made.

Church is hard for the person who feels invisible in a crowd because they don’t “fit in.”

Church is hard for the man fighting secret battles no one else can see.

Church is hard for the family barely holding it together, sitting side by side but feeling worlds apart.

Church is hard for the skeptic who wonders if any of this is real.

Church is hard because on the surface, everything looks polished and picture-perfect.

Even though, deep down, it isn’t.

Church is hard.
But it doesn't have to be.

Here you'll find imperfect people who are just like you.

People who are going through the same things you are.

People with every kind of story imaginable.

People who battle temptation, wrestle with doubt, and face fear.

People who get it wrong more often than they’d like to admit.

People who are learning what it means to follow Jesus–not perfectly, but faithfully.

People who are being changed by grace, one day at a time.

People who understand that we’re better together.

People who believe that the church isn’t a country club for the already religious, but a hospital for those in need.

People who know that God’s love meets us where we arebut never leaves us there.

Because when broken people come together around the grace of Jesus, that’s when the church becomes beautiful again.

If this sounds like you,

if church has felt out of reach,

too busy, too long, too much,

too hard

we are for you.

Take a step towards hope.

One hour.

Real people.

No judgment.

Come as you are.

We won't ask you to pretend.

Just show up.

Join us this Sunday.
